Another familiar face

So, back in the day when we used to have the time and the energy to exercise, we used to do Stroller Strides. "M" did it, too with her son, "C". Fast forward a year or so, we start a photography business and do pictures for "L" (another past Stroller Strides member), then she passes our names on to "M" and she contacts us to do pictures for her!

It was a beautiful day and "C" started out SO easy to take pictures of. He would just stand there staring at us, fascinated with the cameras. When we got back to the house, he didn't want much to do with us or the cameras, but we managed to get some shots of baby "M" by herself, then tricked "C" into taking a few more by riding his rocking horse (which we LOVE by the way!).

Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been SO busy this month, we can't see straight anymore! But... it's a good thing! We'd like to send a huge 'Thank You' out to all of our wonderful clients.

With Thanksgiving upon us, Kristine will be going to South Florida to spend it with her in-laws and Sherilyn has her MIL coming into town to spend it with her family, but we will be available if you have any questions.

TBAMoMs Mini Sessions

Our twins club, TBAMoMs held a Fall Festival this past Sunday at Wilderness Lake Preserve. We were on hand to do mini sessions for those interested in having their pics taken at the lodge. It was a beautiful place and had several good places for pics. There was a nice fireplace, some CUTE little kid-size rocking chairs, a porch swing and a dock right on the water.

Thanks to TBAMoMs for letting us offer this and thanks to those who signed up and had their pictures taken. We will be donating a portion of the session fees and all orders from the mini sessions to TBAMoMs!

'Shake your bum bum'

Dads will do anything to make their kids smile for pictures, and "C" was no exception. He had us cracking up when we're taking pics and all of a sudden he tells his little girls, "B" and "L" to 'shake their bum bums'! Very fun family. Thanks for being good sports and taking the last few pics with your neighbors looking on... hope they didn't give you too much of a hard time!

The cutest

We can truly say that we have the cutest clients. And big brothers/sisters that are SO sweet to their little brothers/sisters!
"D" took a little while to warm up to us and the cameras, but once she did, she let her true smile come out. "I&S" didn't know any different and were perfectly content sitting with their big sis! Thanks, "T" for inviting us out. We promise the rest will be coming shortly!

Speaking of repeat clients...

"L" and "T" brought "F&C" for pictures at our Fall Mini Session. This time they wanted holiday pics of the boys. Santa hats, wrinkly bums, Christmas ribbon, fun striped hats... what else can we say? The boys held on as long as they could while we played- laying them down, sitting them up, on their backs, on their bellies, hats on, diapers off, ribbon and berries covering up the pee pees- they tolerated an awful lot!

Second verse, same as the first

Our first repeat client! We took pics of this lovely family during our Fall Mini Sessions. This time they brought along little "T". What a happy little guy. Not one complaint out of him.

We had a lot of fun shooting in Hyde Park. Our first time shooting there, there are SO many great places for pics!

Special Day

What a special day. "D&O" and big sister "L"'s Baptism day. We were lucky enough to spend some time beforehand with them taking pictures in their beautiful outfits, then also took a few of the actual ceremony. "L" wanted nothing to do with us- or anyone except Grandma for that matter, while "D&O" were all smiles! Congratulations on your special day... the rest will be coming soon.

Santa Claus is coming to town

Is it really the middle of November already? Christmas will be here before we know it!

We had our first Holiday Session with the "L" family. Do you know how difficult it is to get an 18-month-old to stay still for a picture? Well, try getting two 18-month-old boys to stay still and stay together... what a task! "N&P" were constantly on the run, but so cute in their holiday outfits. They loved wearing the Santa hats and didn't want to take them off. Enjoy the preview, mom and dad. The rest will be coming soon.

Small, small world

In more ways than one.

We used to do Stroller Strides with "L". She, with "A" and us with "B&B" and "C&E". Fast forward a year or so and "L" sees our business cards and contacts us to say that she now is expecting twins and would love for us to take their pics!

Newborn twins... "O&O" were so little, but oh so cute. Neither wanted to sleep for us, though! "A" was such a proud big brother and did so well for the pics.

Last of the Fall Mini Sessions... promise! :)

So, of course we had to take our own kids' pics with our Fall setup!

"B" and "B" were good, as always taking their pics. Sat nicely next to each other, smiled, looked cute, etc... made for some great shots.

And then there was "C" and "E". Why is it that "C" does not like to cooperate for pictures and feels the need to yell and scream?

Decided to try again the next morning and this is what we got....

He's SO moody!

Yes, you guessed it... more Fall Mini Sessions!

Since we are moms of twins and members of 2 twins clubs, we have been lucky enough to have several shoots with multiples. Well, this shoot was no exception... 7-year-old triplets! What fun "N", "M" and "M" were. It was so neat to see the interaction between the three of them- the silly, yet meaningful glances, etc. We can only hope our kids are as close as these guys were as they grow older.






And yet another set of twins... "C" and "C" are our kids' buddies. We get together and let the kids play and do almost everything together. But... why won't my boys allow me to take a CUTE picture like this first one of them?! SO jealous!
