50 years of marriage

Our friend "M's" parents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, so "M,K,L&S" threw them a little surprise party. You should have seen the decorations, the set-up and the cake that "M" personalized! Everything looked absolutely amazing. We hope you all had a great time.

Happy 50th Anniversary!

Five under Two

Yes- we are crazy. :) Try getting pics of five kids all under the age of two... NOT easy!
Overall "L, L, D&A and D" did very well. It could have been worse!

First trick: ballooons on the boardwalk
The balloons were flying away, or keeping their attention a little too much, or strings were in front of their faces; the water on either side of the boardwalk was WAY more interesting than us- so many other things to look at!

Next trick: Lollipops
Lollipops seemed to do the trick- for a little while at least. Still hard to get 5 little ones all looking at the camera! This worked for a few minutes until little "D"wanted a lolli, too and took "A's"!
Mmm- nothing better than a big rainbow lolli!
We ended up at the playground and just took some candids as they played...
then they were happy! :)

Thanks, "D" for asking us again to take pics. It was nice meeting your sister and brother-in-law. Hope they didn't mind how dirty 'Dirt' got! :) The others will be coming shortly.

6 month old QT

Do you remember cute little "D" from this post?
http://brinkerfreedphotography.blogspot.com/2008/03/do-they-get-any-cuter.html

Well, she's 3 months older and even cuter!
"D" was so good again for her pics. We managed to get a few smirks and grins out of her, but didn't see the big cheesy grin mom and dad talked about. We were also trying to capture her 2 new teeth, but could only see them when she was crying- she DID NOT like the grass when we tried to sit/stand her in it for a few shots!

"L&P"- Thank you again for asking us back to take "D's" pics... we can't get over how stinkin cute she is!
Sorry again that one of us ran into your sliding glass door (we won't mention here which one of us it was!). :)
Just glad it didn't break! Make sure it's not so clean next time! :)

Three of a Kind

Taking pics of "M,N&M" was so easy. Didn't have to chase them around or make silly noises and jump up and down to get/keep their attention! Like all siblings, they have their moments when they are fighting, arguing and not getting along, but you would never know that looking at these pics. They either really love each other or they are really good at acting like it just for the pics. We'll bet on the first! :)

The New Mr. & Mrs.

YAY! We are so excited to have completed our first official wedding by ourselves... we couldn't help but show our work!!!

It was so much fun. It really meant a lot to Kristine to be a part of "M&B's" wedding since she and "M" are friends from high school. Thanks again, "M&B" for trusting in us!

Congrats to the newlyweds! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

We had the pleasure of taking pics of "T&D" with their Grandma and Pop Pop. "T&D" are very lucky- they have the nicest Grandma and Pop Pop who clearly love them very much. Grandma and Pop Pop are also very lucky to have such CUTE grandsons! It was very nice meeting you both... hope you had an easy move! Enjoy these few pics and the others will be coming soon!

Celebration of Family

Little Miss "N" celebrated her 2nd Birthday and was surrounded by MANY families to celebrate with her. The love and friendship among everyone there was apparent. Thanks, "I" for the opportunity to share this special day with you all. Can't highlight everyone that was there, but wanted to showcase some of the birthday girl and her family. The others will be coming soon. Happy Birthday, "N"!

Family faces are magic mirrors. Looking at people who belong to us, we see the past, present and future.

I had the great pleasure of meeting the family of our good friend, "T" this past weekend.

I ended up having to do the session on my own because Sherilyn had to have surgery to have her gallbladder removed. She is doing well and recovering, but this shoot was too soon after her surgery for her to join me.

"T" is so lucky to have such wonderful people in her and "K's" family. Everyone was so nice and easy to photograph. "K" was a great help in getting the kids to smile and laugh while getting their pics with their grandparents- "K", I'm glad you were behind me and I couldn't see you because I would have been laughing, too! :)

It was really nice meeting all of you! "E&O"- hope you had a Happy Birthday and a great party!

Just wanted to showcase the whole families here, but the rest will be coming real soon!

To be...

bride-t0-be * groom-to-be * husband-and-wife-to-be...

This is Kristine's friend "M" and her fiance' "B". We were finally able to meet up to take some engagement photos of them before their wedding next month. This was so much fun- after we figured out where we were going to take them.

Our first time doing couple pics. We decide to meet up in Hyde Park. While waiting for "M" and "B", a security guard comes over and asks us if we have a permit to take pictures there. Well, um, no. Didn't know we needed one- we've taken pictures there a couple times before with no problem. "Well" he says, "this is private property and you need to visit the business office to get a permit." Of course, the office is closed. He says he has an after hours number, but says it has to be an emergency to call. Well, you know, it may not be to you, but this is kind of an emergency to us! What are we supposed to do about our shoot we have scheduled now? He says he's not sure, but we can't take pictures there. Thanks alot for your help Mr. Security Man.

Thank goodness "M" and "B" are understanding and didn't mind going somewhere else. We ended up going over to Bayshore. We took some pics by the water, in front of someone's house (Kristine tried knocking to ask permission, but no one was home) and by someone's brick wall. Then we drove to Dana Shores where "M" and "B" met. Water, sailboats, sand, benches- it couldn't have been better (except we could have done without all the sandspers). :)

"M" and "B"- we hope you had fun and enjoy these. Thanks for being such great sports. We can't wait for your wedding!

to be continued...

Three plus me

This is what we said "C's" show would be called if she had one.
"C" is the little sister of triplets, "C,A&E". They are another set of friends from our kid/mommy group and all so cute! They all did so well for their pictures. We were so proud of them. We were proud of their daddy, too for not stressing out and letting us do our thing. :)
We love you, "B"!

"K"- you are by far the most laid back mommy (no wonder all your kids are always so good!) and we only wish we could accomplish what you do all with 4 kiddos under the age of 3!

Thanks for letting us capture some of your cuties' moments!
